3: Barbara Sher

In this episode, I talk to author and life coach Barbara Sher about encounter groups, success teams, the futility of positive thinking, and how to get what you really, really want.

Barbara is a global authority on identifying goals, finding drive and motivation, and avoiding resistance the natural way. She has five best-selling books in more than a dozen languages and is in the thick of another one right now, which she’s writing with her son from their home in Marseille, France.

I just found this, Jen! I love this blog. (Reading about everything!) Thanks for putting the audio of our interview up here. It’s a favorite with my fans who are always asking How did you get started? Where did you learn this stuff?!

And I don’t always remember. So I’m glad you’ve got it here forever and always. From now on I’ll answer by sending them the url to this blog. :-) (I already told them that you are cool.)

    Best regards,

Barbara! You are such a gem, and I’m so honored to have had the opportunity to speak with you and share your story. Thank you for all your time and wisdom. X

There are SO many voices in the self-help genre that parrot the same (often unhelpful) things over, and over again. So glad to see Barbara in this format (and such a beautiful website). I can’t wait to hear this. Thanks.
